Is there a difference in cholesterol

    Levels from store bought eggs and my ladies eggs ? Our hens eat Southern States layer crumbles ,oatmeal and yogurt as a morning treat, veggies and fruits,scratch and some leftovers but only the good stuff. And of course whatever they find outside the coop and run for a few hours a day

    I would guess so, things effect the eggs taste like rapeseed or flax, greens make the yolk orangier, so I am guessing our birds with a healtheir and varried diet than those battery chickens who are fed just basic grain would produce healtheir eggs, thus more cholesterol. I read somewhere eggs have more good cholesterol in them than bad. You can read 100 different things from 100 different people and get 200 different ansers, it is confusing so I just listen to my own barnyard logic.
