As far as I know, only my regular chicken attempted to crow so far.
Which is amazing and adorable to hear. I just got back from my 3 week vacation in Las Vegas, and I hear Zeus(the regular, not bantam chicken) try to crow.
It didn't sound quite right, but still, he's trying. <3
But is there a reason the Zeus, the normal sized chicken, crowed and not the bantams?
I didn't stand out there long, just to take care of their needs and such, but Zeus tried to crow like, 5 times while I was out there.
The rest just...clucked I guess? They didn't peep, like I'm used to, but it was a different noise.
Also, if I post picks, can you help me get the breeds down?
I really just don't know. They look old enough to tell, if you're smart enough(not me [IMG])to know breeds well.

Maybe your bantams are just not ready to crow yet or they are and you just haven't caught them at it. I love it when they first start, sounds like they are choking, just have to laugh.
