Is there a way to upload pix onto your BYC page directly from your pc?

I tried that too.

I followed Nifty's instructions from the video. Kept hitting pause on it. I tried both ways of copying and pasting that he shows on the vid and it still doesn't work. I tried copying and pasting
"https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/u … ls_109.jpg" after hitting the "add picture" button and it still doesn't do anything.

I can, however, delete pics and change/add text.

Strange. I suppose it might be a Chrome problem, there are still a few bugs that need fixing.

I go to my BYC page and click "click here to edit"

Clicked "insert/edit image" button

There's no field that comes up for me to paste the image into. Just a cursor on my page. I go to the cursor. Right click and "paste". Nothing happens.

So I try it another way.

I go to my uploads page. Click on the image. The image shows up in it's own screen, just like the video shows. I right click and "copy".

Go to my BYC page and "paste". It doesn't work if I do or don't click on the "insert image" link.

Then I just tried pasting the text directly into the edit page. "https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/u … ls_109.jpg" Still doesn't work if I do or don't click on the "insert image" button.

Peculiar. Do you have any other browsers you can try? This sounds like a browser-specific problem.

Glad it's not me anyway. I've been beating my head against a wall, it seems like. I've added images in previously with no problem. I'm going to try a different browser, and see if that helps. Thanks again, Kooshie!!!! You're the bestest!

Yeah, I see that also. I opened this in Mozilla Firefox. I get the little box that comes up now when I click the "insert/edit image" icon. But now Mozilla won't let me copy and paste on this site.

I give up for tonight.

So what browser are you using?
