No meeting.

The HR person's flight was canceled thanks to the Philly airport and US Airways so she couldn't make it. No idea when it will be rescheduled. Just what an Aspie needs a major change in plans.

And to make matters worse the idiots in DE decided to change our paychecks from every week to every other week.

That starts in May. They wanted to do it sooner but decided that they would be nice and allow us to try and adjust our budgets for the change. Really? How nice of them. So what to those of us living paycheck to paycheck do especially with the price of food and gas going through the roof. And in my case I have a $600 automatic payment due the 15th of every month. So when our last weekly check is issued on May 5th I have to make that last until May 20th. And make sure I have at least $600 in the account on the 15th.

So all in all a great day.

I am sorry you didnt get your meeting. I know how unsettled it makes an Aspie to have scheduals changed on short notice. It sucks that the company is changing the pay periods. I wish you a calm peaceful weekend.

- call the bank/lender -now- and reschedule that auto payment till the ... um... 23rd? that way that month you'll have had two paychecks. 7th/23rd

99% of people getting paid in full ND on time will work with you on things like that.

Well I've had a couple days to process things. I'm still not pleased with my company but I know I am better off than some employees. The two big expenses I am worried about go two different places and just happen to be due on the same day. If I can squeak by that first week I should be all set. And I am already looking for a part time job to help with the bank account. I have one now but it is only seasonal and will be ending sometime in April.

Found out the HR person isn't due to visit our site for at least three weeks. I've waited this long so I know I can wait a bit longer. Of course not knowing how much my boss knows about why we were to have a meeting with HR last week is a bit stressful. So far he hasn't said anything to me about it. My next weekly meeting with him is this Thursday. It will be interesting to see if he brings it up then.
