Is there anybody who just isn't into Christmas?

My wife likes Christmas and decorations. So I like them.
A happy wife is a happy husband. Grin and bear it soon this will pass too.
I will admit I like it when it's all up but hate to put it all away.

I wish it was celebrated more like the way we celebrate thanksgiving day. One nice day of family, celebration and worship if that is what you do and be done. This 8 weeks of aggravation is on my nerves already

I'm not "into" it, although the last two years we actually decorated the house and a tree. We had gone about a decade without decorating and I am not planning on decorating this year. I really hate the commercialism, the music starting to play on some radio stations in early November, etc.

i worked at a restaurant in a mall for over 8 years and every x-mas i had to put up with A LOT of the muzak that drove you nutz! people would gripe and complain about long lines to get out the stores just to rush to the next store or the restaurant to be in an even longer line. COME ON PEOPLE!! YOU HAVE 364 DAYS YOU COULD HAVE DONE THE SHOPPING!

i have always like to give people gifts that they could use. the last few years i have been giving homemade jams and jellies in baskets filled with teas and little goodies i know each person/family likes. we have only focused on the kids since it is a holiday mostly for them now.

but i have not been all too excited when the holidays come. i enjoy relaxing with my dh on that day instead of traveling.
