I hadn't heard of Eggies until I saw this thread. I agree with greenmimama... I'm not a huge fan of cooking anything in plastic.

I recently started hard "baking" our eggs because my husband can eat a ton, and I'm THE WORST at hard boiling them!!
It's extremely simple and out of the 200 or so eggs I done so far, I've only had about 4 that are hard to peel!! I will NEVER boil eggs again. Here's the "recipe", just thought I'd share... Might save you money so you don't have to buy Eggies.
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Place uncooked eggs (in shell) upright in muffin tin. If you don't have a tin, you can certainly just place eggs directly on the center oven rack!! The tin just makes it easier to place eggs in/out of oven.
Once oven is pre-heated, place tin with eggs on center rack (or just place eggs on oven rack).
Bake for 30 minutes. The eggs may sweat a little, and it's completely normal. You may end up with little brown spots on outside of shells, which is also completely normal. They should just rinse off.
When done, remove from oven and allow to cool on counter until cool enough to handle. You don't have to remove them from the tin.
Peel and eat!! I'm not kidding you, it's that easy!!! I even did 3 dozen at once last Easter, and every single egg came out perfect.
Enjoy!!!
