is there something wrong with this foot?

One of my pullets has been limping slightly recently, and this morning while she was preening, I noticed that the foot/leg she has been favouring was raised *and trembling*. I managed to get some decent shots with the zoom; this foot looks normal to me (no obvious swelling or inflammation etc.) but maybe I'm missing something. Of is it an indication of some problem higher up the leg? Any suggestions to explain it and offer recommendations to help her would be welcome and appreciated.

My Maggie went through an episode of limping with absolutely no sign of injury, bumblefoot, or anything.
My guess is she landed awkwardly because it started after she successfully flew away from a young fox.
Maggie wasn’t built for flying but the sight of her elevated and flapping was enough to terrify the inexperienced fox.
So I concluded it was some kind of sprain.
Maggie was very sensible. She rested often and stood on her other leg when possible.
It took about 6 weeks before she had no limp at all.
I did not isolate her and she kept up with the flock albeit slowly.
She didn’t dig well as that really requires two feet but it was spring so there were nibbles to be found above ground. She started gentle scratching using that foot after 2-3 weeks (from memory).

thanks both. When it rains here the tiles and stone slabs round the house can get slippery, and the birds hang about there to get out of the rain, and I have seen them slip and slide when spooked, and the trampoline surface was slippery when we had the cold snap, so that sort of injury would fit.

Sounds like that was it. I assume she is otherwise fine: alert, eating, pooping etc.?

oh yes, generally looking in fine fettle, and eating well albeit in the last sitting with the rest of her brood (they're the youngest here). She's still got a bit of growing to do (hatched August) but nearly full size now, and roosts with the grown ups - all the roosts here are low, btw, just a couple of inches off the floor @dawg53 . Thankfully she's not one of the tree huggers, who come down from the top of the holm oak with surprising aplomb, and neither of whom have any health issues. (They roosted in during the cold snap but they've been out again the last 2 nights.)
