I just got a HUGE (to me) egg yesterday and I cracked it open this morning for breakfast and it was a triple yolker. I had given a "six pack" of eggs to a friend and she reported one triple out of those six. Anyone ever seen an egg with four (or more) yolks?

Are you giving then fertility drugs?
Have they been to a fertility clinic?
Are we going to be hearing about Octo-Hen in the news?

my duck has laid a few double yolkers before. but triple wow! i would squawk loud if i laid that lol. sorry i don't know what to tell you

Two are fairly common among pullets just staring to lay. I get one or two every other week or so from my eight hens. Three would be unusual, but not unheard of, four would be extremely rare, but the record, believe it or not, is a nine!

When i was a kid, we lived on a turkey farm and we got one that had 7 yolks, 5 was not uncommon, and trips & doubles were everyday.

Had a hen when I was young who layed a quad egg. It was the largest chicken egg I'd ever seen and have ever seen since then. The yolks were all of normal size and the egg weighed over 1/4 lb. at the farmer's market.
