Is this a Barred Rock and is it a pullet?

I wasn’t sure of the breed because it got switched on me! I obviously didn’t get the chick I ordered. I am also leaning towards it not being a female. Any help?

Looks like a pullet. Are the legs white or yellow? White would be a Marans, yellow a Rock.

Thank you! They seem yellow to me with slight darkening on the front.

OMG! Are you sure yours is a pullet? I will be thrilled if this one is because I can’t keep a rooster. Kids are already attached, you know.

Yes! The males are much more white with black than black with white. Pretty easy to distinguish. Congratulations!
