Is this a boy or girl RIR?

Hello. I am new to having chickens. I have been told that this 15 week old RIR is both a boy and girl from multiple people. She trys to be in charge of the rest of the flock but not that good at it. Is not crowing but makes sounds loike the other girls. Looking to get a more expert opinon. Thank you for any insight you might have.
Congratulations! It's a BOY!

Thank you so much for all of the responses. My family and I had a feeling it was a boy but was hoping to be wrong. We will need to relocate him.

I have the same situation with one of mine. 15 weeks, bossy, no crowing but very vocal. From the pictures of the saddle feathers you posted would I expect mine is female? I find this confusing!
It can be confusing indeed. Trust me... hens can be bossy... friendly to people is not the same as friendly to the flock and they can be bullies. I had one production red PULLET who insisted on mounting one of my Silkie pullets... needless to say, she (the bully) went to a more appropriate home. :smack Hens can even crow and grow spurs! But it isn't super common.

Yours does appear to be female for the stated age. Sometimes it's possible the gender saddles have not come in yet or are late blooming... but I don't think so looking at her comb and waddles. They often become more vocal kinda like squawk awk awk type talking as they get closer to lay. :)

Actually the pictures look like a Production Rhode Island Red. I have had some many years ago and my males looked like the one pictured.

What is a production Rhode island red hens? Is that a different breed? Do the hens look different too? Sorry for all of the questions just very new to this.

The way I understand it, Production RIRs were bred for just that - egg production. The goal is not to meet any standard of perfection (SOP) as much as it is on getting good egg production (hence the name ... Production Reds.)
