Congrats !!!!!! hope he does well ! I had a little chook that hatched with it's foot juting out , he's all good now execpt a little lopsided when he walks !

His legs should get better within a few hours and I'd expect he will be fine once he is all dried up

Sometimes they do that for quite a while. I bet it will be just fine.

I would just leave him in the incubator for a few hours and see how he does. Hatching is hard work for a tiny dux. ☺

Yay!! I hope his legs get better! Very cute, and long awaited, duck! What will you name him/her?

Thanks both of you! I am planning on leaving him in here for a while and monitoring him. He is actually a little blue fawn from the looks of it. I'm not sure of a name yet but I will keep you posted. Hatching is certainly hard for tiny babies
