View attachment 2366277I would ask her if she's still there to remove this part of the shell over the head eye area, and moisten up all that membrane around the edges.
If the head area is free they can usually push themselves on out.
I think by now it should be out of the danger zone. It's probably about ready to pop out. by now if there is a little bit of unabsorbed yolk it should just be a matter of a bulging belly and not a whole bunch of it on the outside. If that makes any sense.
I don't think it will hurt him if it rolls the egg. Think about an egg being crammed underneath a hen with a bunch of other eggs and babies. They still manage to get out.
