Darn it. I was hoping it would straighten up for you.He is doing well this morning. I set him down and he walked around. His leg is still curled under him. And his wing goes out to the side. When he walks he walks on his foot with his toes curled back. I tried to gently straighten the foot this morning but the joint/ankle doesn't seem to bend it's like its facing backwards. I will try to tape his little foot flat on a cardboard bootie ? He does use his little foot and even itched his eye with it multiple times. He has also been cleaning himself. Lol I woke up and he a
Had jumped out of the cup and was curled up on my blanket! Other than his foot he seems well and lively

I've not had to deal with that yet so I can't give much advice going forward. I've seen others on here have to take feet and have pretty good results though.
Me too! Thanks I will try to get a better picture of his leg. I hope I can fix it, If not I hope he'll get around ok.The little assist from last season that pipped on the wrong side ended up having a foot deformity. Slipped tendon, and curled toes. The curled toes i fixed with tape, but I was not able to fix the leg. A friend ended up with him, and while he's smaller than his siblings, he still gets around alright, and is their favorite. Is the leg curled forward and upward? Unable to extend?
He is doing well. I gave him some nutridrench. I haven't offered food or water yet. I think I will do so in the morning. Is that too long? I was going to today but am not sure how to go about doing so since he is not stable on his feet. His little foot will not uncurl. The toes spread but the ankle/joint doesn't straighten. I'm not sure what to try because the cardboard made it more difficult for him to walk.Hows the little guy doing? Is his leg doing ok?
