Technically, you're not eating the chick since it's not developed yet. Unless you were talking about the Phillapino [sp?] dish. Anyways, in my opinion fertile eggs taste better then regular eggs.

Its just an egg........... eat it

We have 3 roosters/29 hens and eat fertile eggs everyday and ya know I've seen some store bought eggs there were fertile.

collect your eggs every single day and you will never know the difference.....I am new this year too and I asked the same question. No question is a dumb question!! The only dumb question is the one you never ask!

Have fun and and enjoy your eggs!

I used to think that the only dumb question was the one not asked...then i became a teacher...trust me..there are dumb questions

I eat my silkie eggs all the time because my rooster is a hatchery chicken and don't want babys from him. Two little eggs over lite on a pice of toast every day.

My mother in law ask " Well where do the roosters come from?" LOL

You've not had chickens long enough if you have to ask.... My favorite one "does the rooster lay eggs too?"

That is funny because someone just asked us that the other day! I couldn't help it, just laughed right in his face. He'd talk about how they'd raise chickens when he was a child and then asks this question! LOL after I almost fell out laughing, I told him no, roosters don't lay eggs and a rooster doesn't have to be present for hens to lay eggs.
