I hatched chicks from NPIP breeders a week ago noticed one with a very curved beak but didn’t think it was causing any problems until today when I noticed him breathing heavy with some open mouth breathing, I don’t see any discharge from his nose but did notice a lump under his beak as shown in the pictures. I’m hoping it’s just a deformity causing the issue and not something worse like respiratory disease. Is this a deformity and why is it now all of a sudden causing problems?
