Oh I thought you were giving him a bath just for the heck of itTheir open run had 30 chickens, goats and mini pigs in it and was muddy .He stunk to high heaven when I put him in the truck so I gave him a bath when i got him home. Smelled like a pig pen sorry!
If he'd looked half as bad as he smelled I wouldn't have put him in my truck !He didn't actually LOOK dirty!Please show us some photos when he's all cleaned up.
I love Delawares and was disappointed that they were sold out when I was placing my order last winter.
I didn't want to push my luck by bathing him twice. The poor guy was grateful to get a bath and never gave me a bit of trouble . He may have changed his mind if I gave him two.LolOh I thought you were giving him a bath just for the heck of it
Thank you! Advice noted!Very nice bird! May be a good idea to quarantine him before mixing with your flock considering his previous, fecal filled living conditions. Congrats on the pick up.
