Is this a fox?

It looks like a Red Fox to me. The tail is a give away. I can't see a cat running around with that bushy of a tail. The Red Fox goes through a black phase at times.

There are black foxes -- it's called hypermelanism (opposite of albinism) -- but that picture is a cat, a nice big fluffy black cat.
