Is this a good looking silkie roo? (pics)

Polish Princess is right, it isn't pure single--V is mixed in. A walnut comb looks---like a walnut.

The darker the better. Should be wider than tall, with a single transverse crease. Should be small enough to not block vision.

yeah but im not looking to show my silkies. so i dont care bout the walnut. =O)

Nope, don't sell eggs or chicks. Occasionally started birds. I breed for exhibition, and sell extras or ones that don't fit my needs.

Mostly silkies, but also have a few polish, sizzles and cochins. Also a couple of bantam buff brahma hens and a bantam silver duckwing araucana hen.

oh my goodness are you serious, why are you trying to start a fight about a simple question about a rooster. I dont know ANYTHING about roosters. I am NOT looking to show him.... So the reason I DONT CARE about the walnut comb. Someone asked if has a single comb, since i dont know anything about silkies i asked what one was. The title of this forum is "breeds, genetics & showing" Its not all about showing. I am asking about the breed and his genetic. Who are you to say i am thinking otherwise. I was asking if he was a good looking roo because I DO plan on selling chicks. And those people who was SHOW QUALITY birds will have to look elsewhere, i NEED to KNOW information about my birds so i dont look stupid when selling chicks. (Ex.. "Are the chicks show quality?) I would not have been able to answer that question before i posted this.


It sounds like you are only about show quality birds and you make other silkies sound like a P.O.S. worthless chickens.
