Hello friends, my fiancè and I have been going round and round about this topic regarding this baby. .I say rooster and he says it's just a fast developing hen. That Roosters don't grow their crowns quite as quickly. .I have instincts that tell my gut that she's really a he. I know that they are sexed as pullets but there's always a chance and with a pea comb it's hard. .what do you think rooster or hen?

I've never had a breed other than single comb birds. But from what they say three rows of bumps on the comb for pea comb birds is male.

Okay thanks ever so much yes, He does have 3 rows of bumps. So once he grows up and fills out. .like between 6-8 months he'll be for sale. He has blue feathering in him and I'll show better pictures as he ages. Whoever buys him from me will get blues, and I do handle him. He's pictured on my shoulder, it's my Avatar picture.

Face makes me think hen, tail makes me think roo.

Thanks :) I'm pretty confident that "she" is a he; thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. He's a pure bred Easter Egger (Ameraucana) NOT MIXED. So between 6-7 months once he's filled out beautifully I will be selling him as I already have roosters. He'll more than likely produce blue off spring. I'm imprinting (taming) him and handling him daily so he'll bessocialized for his next owners.
