Is this a hen or rooster? We have 2 silverlaced wyandottes and some other chickens. They are suppose to be all hens but we are not sure. They are 4

I thought that might be the case, wasn't sure; and I did think I saw some pointy feathers?

On patterned birds the colors can easily trick the eye.

One good way to tell for sure is to put your hand or a piece of paper under the feathers so you can see the true shape:

Another consideration - when did the redness in the comb and wattle show up? If this is a very recent development, you have a hen that is nearly ready to lay, but if that's been there for a while, that would be evidence pointing toward a roo.

It's been red like this for over a month

We got this one and the other one as day old chick's. They are both 4 months old. This one is definitely a hen.

I'm at a bit of a lose, the comb and feathers do look a bit cockerelish, but I do agree about the pattern being that of a pullet.
Now you know why we were having trouble trying to figure out which it is😂. I guess we will just have to wait a bit longer for us to know one way or the other as it gets older. I want to thank everyone that answered though.
