This is a first for me. I have had soft shell, I have had bloody, I have had fairy eggs. But this is a first.I don’t know who it came from. So I really can’t be sure who’s having a problem. In any case what if anything should I do or be looking for in my chickens? I’ve photographed from 2 angles and I cut it in jhalf to photograph insides.

I agree with DobieLover, if you don't see another one, your hen will probably be all right. I have only had one lash egg in my 9 years of keeping chickens and I did not have a hen dying around of time after I found it.
