Is this a leghorn? I was told she is between 5 and 8 months and she started laying eggs almost 1 month ago. The eggs are a solid beige color.

Than you FarmGal, I just got her a few days ago and the givers have not returned my messages regarding more info.
I was told she laid every other to every third day, since arrivING here she has laid daily. Forgive my nievenes but that hopefully means she is happy here, right?

she's a pretty white Rock pullet.

Leghorns are more slender and upright built, and they have large white earlobes. White eggs.

New layers are often erratic when they start. Sounds like she's settled in nicely at your place

Thank you all. She is a lovely bird and seems to have quiet disposition. She laid 3 days in a row! The home we acquired her from said she will maybe give you an egg every other or 3rd day.....
We hope to enjoy her for years to come.
