Is this a New Hampshire Red?

One of the kids here at the farm has a hen she'd like to show but she's not sure if the hen is 100% New Hampshire Red? I know absolutely nothing about the breed. I've tried Google, but I'm still not absolutely sure if this hen really is all New Hampshire Red.

Can anyone help us out?

My guess would be a Production Red. New Hampshire reds should have yellow legs and a "necklace" of black lacing around the neck. Here is a pic of one of mine:

I agree with not being sure about this hen.. the type seems all weird and off for a Hamp.

my first reaction at seeing the pictures was either a mixed heavy breed or result of a hatchery of not selecting for type at all- as in possibly is some hatchery's idea of a Hamp but would not fly too well at a show?

She is a majestic looking hen, whatever she is though!

I was thinking that this would have been a hatchery chick, if she was a purebred. Doesn't the SOP call for black in their tail feathers also?

My guess would be a Production Red.

Went and Googled Production Reds. She really does look like one.
