Is this a pullet or cockerel and what breed is it?

I was given this as a baby chic. I believe it is 2 months old (see pictures). I'm hoping it's a pullet and possibly a RIR. Any thoughts would be helpful.

New Hampshire Red or Production Red cockerel.

At that age and already such good size waddles and comb,most probly a roo.Doesn't look like a lil too light for a RI possibly a NH?.

Thank you all for your posts. I'll get a side and tail picture just in case it helps. But, it looks unanimous about being a Roo and not a RIR.
I will have to find a home for him as I am not allowed to keep a Roo. He likes to be held close and talked to softly (although he fights a bit at first to be picked up). If anyone knows of a place where I could find him a good home where he can live a nice life, I would be happy. I'm in San Diego County.
