sorry for the other threads I just wanted different peoples opinionsWell, as you have already stated elsewhere that it came from the bantam bin at TSC it is safe to assume it is *some* type of bantam - because TSC orders assorted bantams, there are many potential breed identities. As has been explained, it will be a matter of waiting a few weeks for the chick to begin to feather in well and at that point a positive ID can likely be made.
ok thank uSince you got it from the bantam box, it's most likely that they gave you a bantam chick: essentially a smaller version of a standard bird. I wouldn't count on it being a quail: different types of birds are normally pretty well separated anyway. The only thing to do now is to just wait and see how it feathers out :cd
