Is this a Roo?

I got this Rooster from a local farm and named him Mr. Look. He is a dark brahma. He was our first rooster. Born in the spring, he is a big guy. About 2 weeks later I got a Norwegian Jaerhon Rooster that is about 3-4 weeks younger. His combs are much larger and brighter red. I am now questioning Mr. Look. What do you think?

Yes that is a rooster, but he is not a Dark Brahma. He has a single comb instead of a pea comb, not enough feathering on the legs, and his color is wrong. I'd have to say he's a mix.

Yeah it does have points, but some pea-combs have points on them. The main thing in telling the difference in comb types is how far back on the head they go, how tall they are. And the shape IE: Single combs will be long with high points, pea combs are round and generally small/short etc. But im sure you already knew that.
