This is my chicken penny. Sweet as can be at 18 weeks old. But I am starting to think "she" is a roo. No crowing or spurs but no eggs or squats either. Help please!!!!!

Yayayayay!!!!! She's a B.O. And not super pointy feathers on her neck that I know of. She does have a little bit of brown on the tips of her tail feathers though.

Not to heist a post but....is this a Roo? I am a newby and I am sure it is a bit early but the stocky legs, and strut has me suspicious.

No problem. The more the merrier. Mine has stocky fat legs but it is a B.O. And that is a common trait

I should have added that I was told the father is a Rhode Island and the mother they where not sure of.

This is another pic of her. Also at this age can anybody sex my barred rock. She is 14 weeks. No crowing although "puberty" has hit. Lol. I have noticed that penny chases the rock around when I let the out of there coop in the morning sometimes and ruffles her feathers constantly. But still no crowing. No attack me either.

I think all chickens try to express a pecking order. You said sweet, so she is not combative about being coughs or chased?
