Is this a rooster call?

First question- is this a rooster or a hen imitating a rooster?

Second, what breed do you think. We were told it was a Polish when we bought it but we think it looks like a Silver Laced Cochin.

How old is that chicken? It looks like a blue cochin. There are rare instances when a hen can "become" a rooster. They can't fertilize eggs and they won't lay any eggs. They become a surrogate rooster to protect the flock.

Yeah... how old is it?
It’s definitely a blue cochin and is crowing. But really looks like a pullet.

What does its tail feathers look like? I'm beginning to lean towards cockerel.

I’m thinking pullet. At 13 weeks I’d expect the comb to be more developed.

She's a Cochin. Sometimes the females can make a sound that sounds similar to a male but it's not really a crow. I have heard some of mine do it too. Good luck and have fun...

That's a blue cochin and its gotta be a male with the crow and bright red comb and waddles at 12 weeks.
