is this a Rooster or hen

I'm not sure, they have always been like that.

But the reason I'm asking is because I saw her mount one of my big hens like a rooster. Is that just normal play or something?

I was thinking by the wing feathers she was Wolverine

The wings might be because I just let her free range and I have her in a pen with a bunch of other breeds. I'm sure these aren't the ideal conditions for a frizz, but she seems to like it.

Im sorry to pipe in but I feel this is a frazzle, not a frizzle, I had a polish hen which I purchased from someone, and she developed the same thing with her feathers, sadly she died a couple of months later, as we all know frizzle x frizzle = frazzles... and in most casted the chicken dies young

This one is very healthy and active. I threw some old biscuits in the pen this morning and she tried to take them all and hide them. It was pretty funny on account of her being the smallest in the pen other than the rosecombs

Is that why her backside from her mid section back is almost silkie like with a few frizzled feathers scattered about?

You will find with a frazzle that there feathers are rather brittle, which break easy, causing bleeding...

I am not saying yours is definatly a frazzle, but because of the claw like feather casing it may be...
