Is this a ROOSTER? *PICS*

Arggggg!!!!! Just wanted to let you all know what happened to my order my mypetchicken!

First I ordered 3 females, but I received 5 instead. Ok, now I have 5, now what! As I was getting used to the idea of 5, one of the Roosters (he started showing early signs) was trying to kill my 2nd Rooster (he has a severe crooked beak win which he can hardly eat even when I hand feed him). So, we got rid of Rooster #2. We still have Rooster #1, he's the severe crossed beak, very under weight.

Ok, now we have Rooster #3! That means I only get to keep 2!

I called my pet chicken and they seemed to be interested in trying to accommodate me. They refunded me for 3 birds, plus shipping. When I tried to tell them I have a 3rd Roster, they simply started ignoring my emails and calls even though they seemed interested in having me send them a photo by email of my likely 3rd Rooster.

Anyone want to adopt my white Rooster named "marilyn"? I'm in the Los Angles area.

Just curious, but doesn't mypetchicken charge quite a hefty price for sexed pullet chicks? Nice of them for refunding you for your whole order + shipping though, which means your two pullets were free!

I would imagine they knew the packing peanuts could be little roos though, and since they were free to begin with I wouldn't expect any more compensation from them.

They may have had to send two extras because the minimum for your area may have been 5 chicks and not 3. normally the minimum for my area is 3, but since the weather has been cooler, they made me order 7 this time. Please try to contact MPC again, while trying to maintain your cool. (also they don't open until 10am). Whenever there has been something strange about an order, they have always been more than willing to help me out.

Don't give up on him/her just yet... With EEs it is hard to tell even at 3 months. My EE(not a hatchery chick) has had a red face/comb since before I got her at 3 - 3/12 months old. She just started laying at 7 months old. Here is what she looked like when I got her.

This is her at about 5 1/2 - 6 months

It's a roo I had three EE given to me as "pullets" they turned out to be roos also. Sometimes they just are slow at showing their gender signs. good gravy though.
