Is this 4 week old buff Orpington a rooster?

BO can be hard to tell, especially at an early age. Their combs are slower to grow, in my experience. I can't tell yet from your picture. If you have more than one from the same hatch/genetics/the same age, and one has a significantly larger comb, odds are that's a roo. I'd post pics of this bird again around 6-8 weeks. Around 15 weeks, it should be obvious because saddle feathers should start being present around that time.

Thanks ◡̈ that’s my only BO, they were straight runs, so I didn’t want to grab more than one.

Just wondering what this chick turned out to be? I have 3 4wk old buff orpington chicks and am dying to know what they are!
