And yes that's how hilarious some crowing hens sound as well.. but I have YET to see anything crowing that young actually be a pullet.
Please note, they don't earn their hen and rooster badges until reaching a year old. Prior to that they are pullets and cockerels technically speaking.. which most important when discussing behaviors or symptoms. We still use hen and roo in everyday discussions but putting it out there for when it is important to note the difference.. like health matters etc.![]()
