Is this a silver [coturnix/japanese] quail chick? Or if not, what type?

looks like what we call silvers? theres a big fuzzy area between silver/blue/charcoal/platnum

Maybe, wow, I never realized how confusing quail colours were. x]
Heh, I hope they figure it out and unblur the fuzzy parts of quail colour types soon.

Hmm... My quail are more lighter in colour. I'll post another pic of a chick tomorrow, his feathers are turning a little orange.
It's too late now, so yeah.
They've pretty much all got their full feathers now.

i think the last one in my thread is the same as yours, i just took the photo at night in the barn so it obscures the color some, i'll try and get new ones

Can't even venture a guess but I love it! I wish I could breed for that color but I wouldn't know where to begin
