Is this a splash? It couldnt be...

i ordered some chicks a couple of weeks ago, mostly polish and some others. Well Ideal shorted me on my order of two blues and only sent me one. Instead they threw in a little white polish which i assumed to be buff laced. i was kind of bummed about tht because it really deminished my chanced of getting a blue pullet, and since i already have a gold laced didnt need another one. Well today i popped in on them and noticed this little guy is getting spots! Is it possible to get a splash from a hatchery? im very excited now!

When you read the descriptions for any blue chick, they disclose that you may get black, blue, or splash. And yes, that does appear to be a splash!

You're welcome! I do find it a tad amusing that you ordered two blue and neither of them are blue but this little chick is sure to be a gorgeous bird!

well i ordered two blue and i did get one blue and this one. Im glad i got one of each
