Is this a tick or bump on my dog's back?

Hi!

I have a 15 year old Schnoodle with an odd bump on his back. He just got groomed and I'm wondering if it's a clogged pore. I do live in South Louisiana, so ticks are very common.

Just a bump. If it were a tick, it would be more lumpy and spherical -- think of a water droplet on glass -- and would be a different color.
