Is this a Welsummer and a Dominique?

And my three (though they have been rehomed now).

There is a difference in the "barring" that hatchery birds have and a true barring pattern that you will get on a good bred bird from a breeder...

Barred - As in a good bred Barred Rock
Alternating transverse markings of two distinct colors on a feather, regular in shape.

Cuckoo - As in a Dominique
Alternating transverse markings of two distinct colors on a feather, irregular in shape.

Most Barred birds with good Barring will feather out slowly where a Cuckoo patterned bird will feather out quickly.

If you would like to see what barring should look like you can go to.
http://mattlh.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rockclub&action=display&thread=971 3rd. post down and 8th post down......

Then if you would like you can go to https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=343605 and Picture 6 shows Barred Rock Feathering and Picture 7 will show Dominique feathering..

im not necessarily sayin regular or irregular, just that by BRs have patterned out like a zebra, there is distint seperation of color going all the way around the bird. Ad, on my dominiques it more sporadic and checker boarded.

Here's a pic of my hatchery hens. The one in the forefront is pretty blurry. Is that pretty good barring for hatchery chickens? Maybe not ideal.

From what I can see in the pics. the "barring" is "fuzzy" and irregular in shape with some solid Black feathers. It is a typical hatchery type "barring".
Not to get anyone upset but that pattern is more a "clean" Cuckoo than a Barring... ( that is about what the pattern on my Dominiques look like )
