Yes that is a Welsummer, light in color but a leghorn has white earlobes for one.

I'm actually keeping the darkest of my three...maybe I actually chose correctly! I picked the one with the deepest red hackles and darker, shiny body. Plus, he's the biggest and sweetest, so he's got that going for him!!

Somehow, I've gotten confused with my Welsummer and Brown Leghorn Roos. I sold my two Roos that I thought were Brown Leghorns last weekend...please tell me these guys are my Welsummers! Hoping to keep one and I have a buyer for the other.

Can any one tell me have they ran across a welsummer mix with a Sussex if so send a pic or just reply please
