Another one of my “hens” just began to look like a rooster. The comb is pretty red and bigger than the other hen of the same breed/age. Any thoughts?

He/She is about 7 weeks and is an “Asian black” from tractor supply. I have no idea what that is since I haven’t found anything about the breed, if it even is a breed, on the internet.

It is apparently a thing but there is very limited pictures on their website. I would guess cockerel with the pink showing in the comb and wattles but I am no expert. Maybe someone else will know for sure or have handled this breed for more information on it.

If its 7 weeks then I would say it is a cockerel. Asian Blacks are a slow growing meat breed.
