Is this an Aracauna????

    Ok i thought I had an Aracauna Rooster but now after seeing some of the pics in these posts I am wondering if I am wrong???

    ugh I don't know how to upload photos on here!!!!!lol I guess you can see him on my website........... any help on how to upload images???

    Ok i thought I had an Aracauna Rooster but now after seeing some of the pics in these posts I am wondering if I am wrong???

    No, I'm sorry but he is not an Aracauna. They are rumpless. Not only do they not have a tail, they don't have the bones that support the tail.

    Nonetheless, he is gorgeous!

    I don't see a pic of your araucana, but if you got them from a hatchery, they are more likely easter eggers. You may want to do some searches on here to understand the difference between araucana , ameraucana and easter eggers. There are numerous posts on this topic.

    Yep the araucanas are ee's. Ohhh that hybrid cochin is AWESOME!!! I would love to find out how ya make one of those she is a looker for sure. I have quite a few cochins myself and just love them!
