It's probably an easter egger they are a mix between an americauna and something else. For some reason all the stores around us are selling "araucanas" this year, but they are definitely easter eggers. EE still lay cool eggs though
It's definitely an Easter Egger (the greenish legs are a dead giveaway) as opposed to a true Araucana which have tailess rumps. Hatcheries frequently and incorrectly market their Easter Eggers (which are hybrids produced by crossing blue egg layers with brown egg layers to produce offspring that lay eggs in colors other than just blue) as Araucanas or Ameraucanas. There is a good article at http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2011/09/ameraucana-easter-egger-or-araucana.html explaining the difference between Araucanas, Ameraucanas, and Easter Eggers.
