We have pullets who just started laying. One has been laying for ~2 weeks, another laid her first egg yesterday and we think the third is close. We let them roam around the backyard, and we found this today (pics below). Not sure if this is potentially an egg precursor or a sign of something wrong or lack of calcium? it’s got a white side and then is a fluid-filled packet
I also found some really yellow bedding when I cleaned the coop today (egg yolk) colored. But no obvious signs of shell.
Note: other two laid nice eggs with firm shells from the get go.
