Next time you shopping pick up some clear iodine and treat those places with a q tip that one looks like could be bumble.

That looks like hyperkeratosis to me. Overgrown scales. Dogs get this on their pads. I have a chicken with it.

You can trim it down to keep it from snagging on things. Or leave it alone. I have not trimmed my hens yet but plan to in spring.
