6 month old, legbar mix rooster. I check my chickens feet every couple weeks for bumble and I keep their coop very clean. I just checked this guys feet a week ago and didn’t notice anything.

Today saw a slight limp and checked his feet. The skin/scales on the end of his little toe are rock hard and turning almost black and seem to be protruding out. Is this bumble? Mites? Something else?

I agree with soaking the foot in warm Epsom salts for 30 minutes a day. You can just hold her while you are doing something else. You can also try a plaster made of it. Try to remove some of the dry material, and then use the plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment.
