Is this chick stuck?!

The chick would not have made it without help. It always makes me very nervous to help a chick hatch. But most of the time it works out well. I've assisted probably dozens of times over the years and I usually have a live chick afterwards. But it is especially scary the first time. I'm glad you made it happen. :old

It’s running around and peeping!

I'm so glad the chick is doing well. There is one thing you should watch for. I have found that with chicks that have had an assisted hatch is they sometimes develop spraddle leg. If their legs get too far apart you might need to put a hobble on their legs to keep them the correct distance apart.
Sure is a cute chick! What breed is it?

I know it;s not recommended but if it was mine I would probably try to remove part of the shell and see if it is stuck. It's important for the chick to push out of the shell to help it's legs so just remove enough shell to give it a chance. :old
try using a (needleless) syringe or eyedropper to get water on the inside of the shell. it will be easier to remove small pieces of the shell.
