It was hard I had to use warm water and some cotton balls and tweezers.So glad it worked out for you and the chick!

try using a (needleless) syringe or eyedropper to get water on the inside of the shell. it will be easier to remove small pieces of the shell.I know it;s not recommended but if it was mine I would probably try to remove part of the shell and see if it is stuck. It's important for the chick to push out of the shell to help it's legs so just remove enough shell to give it a chance.![]()
