Is this comb normal?

Those little twigs at the top are from a certain breed(s), tho I can't think which one.

No, sadly I don't. The hatchery breeds a small variety of chickens, including marans, polish, and ameraucanas. He does have a little crest, so maybe he could have some polish in him. Not sure how it works. :/

So, two of my EE chicks have this different looking comb compared to the others. Most of the chicks have pea combs but some are singles. Both of the chicks with this odd looking comb have small crests, but none of the others do. I got a picture of the crested blue one, the other is black and has a larger crest than the blue.

Yeah, that’s a V x pea comb. Your chicks are likely part polish.

Both of the crested ones ended up being roosters.
