Hi everyone!

Just started my first incubating of chicken eggs and I’m at day 15. I’ve done a candling session and found this?

Is this considered a blood ring? Should I remove?

Thanks in advance.

This egg turned out fine. Thank god I just left it but we had a successful hatch with 13 out of 16 hatching!

16 others, looks like movement and good development from 12, then 2 marans I can’t see through at all and 2 olive eggs that I think are okay, but hard to tell unfortunately. I need something stronger to look at them
You can always use a regular flashlight or the one on your phone. Please let me know how your hatch goes!

Just the light on the incubator I bought. It was only a cheap one as it was supposed to be a life cycle project for my 4 year old lol and I’ve completely become obsessed. I don’t think there is movement, and there’s a big black spot floating around.
I think he may have died then. You can always keep the egg in for a few more days just in case.

It looks like he may have passed. Is it moving at all? What sort of light are you using?
