Thank you! Do I need to worry if something is wrong with her? Her crop size looks slightly larger. I noticed this from yesterday. I just didn’t pay attention if it was smaller in the morning before she ate.
It is possible for the crop to empty by morning and be completely normal, yet be larger than the other birds'. It might develop problems later on, or it might not. Check it in the morning every once in a while to make sure it's functioning properly, and if it is, then maybe that's just how it is. I have a hen like that. She's always had a huge-looking crop - ever since she was a fluffy yellow chick. She's a grown hen now and looks like a rotund middle-aged lady. We lovingly call her Saggy Boobs Her crop functions and empties normally, and she's a healthy, happy hen, so I have stopped worrying.
