Is this dangerous? Help!

I would be very careful about opening that up or bugging it. Flystrike is big right now in the summer where flies lay eggs in open sores. Maybe see if it gets bigger. It could just be an insect bite. I would just watch it. If it gets larger or starts to look red and infected,then we go from there.

It kind of looks infected now, should I take her to the vet?
 
I would try a warm, damp compress on it for starters. I see bugs in the photos, too. You might want to treat your flock with permethrin.

I just checked back and it looks like someone pecked at it because it’s bleeding. I’m going to take her to the vet asap.
