Haha! The problem is I only have 6 chickens and I’ve seen each of them lay an egg. None have rooster qualities and they are 24 weeks old. Have to find out where the mystery rooster is coming from!

do your hens free range? if they do, are they in close proximity to a rooster? someone else may have one that wants all the hens in the world to lay fertile eggs.

Actually hens can have fertile eggs sometimes without a rooster.
