ok so i just had a silkie hatch and it is so loud is this normal for silkies it wont stop peeping and its the loudest thing ive ever heard it looks fine so far help please

Maybe it is too cold? If it is very loud I would assume it is a distress call and something is wrong.

Is it imprinted on you? Alone? Cold? Hot? Hungry? Feel vulnerable in the type of cage?

It's normal. They are just babies. It's had a rough time hatching.Peeping now is ok. Later after they are in the brooder with food, water and heat, that is when you need to see what's going on. And it's alone. After a few more hatch and they get dry and warm, they will start to sleep some. Martha

Yeah, it usually takes about two days in my experience. But my ducks imprint on me and im with them 24/7
